Spring Fashion Show

SRJC Fashion Studies presents Wild Metropolis, our Spring 2025 Fashion Show. More info here!

This year’s theme, “Wild Metropolis,” explores the contrast between the natural world and the urban landscape, bringing the jungle to the city and highlighting the untamed beauty of nature through fashion. This entirely student-produced event will showcase original garments and accessories designed and crafted by students of the Fashion Studies Program.
Doors open at 6pm and the runway show begins at 6:30pm. After the runway portion of the show, there will be a brief intermission, followed by the contest awards ceremony starting at 7:30. Contest winners and prizes will be announced, and the audience pick for “People’s Choice” will be revealed LIVE at the event.
The venue is Clocktower Plaza located at the Northwest corner of the campus. The show is outdoors and will go on, rain or shine. Audience members should dress according to the weather.
General admission tickets are priced at $20, with a discounted rate of $10 for SRJC students. Tickets must be purchased in advance online via Eventbrite. Link to tickets can be found on the Fashion Studies website fashion.santarosa.edu.

Free Farmer's Market

 

The final Free Farmer’s market of spring term will be Tuesday, May 6th, 11:30am-1:30pm under the outdoor canopy (between buildings 400 & 500). You can pick up fresh produce and other groceries. Can’t make it? Leftover produce and other items are moved to the Welcome & Connect Center after each event. More information here. The food pantry will be open all summer, and we will resume the Free Farmer’s Market in September!

Student Success Team Event: Finals Prep 

 

 

Finals are almost upon us, so join the Student Success Team to get connected to resources and get tips on how to slay your finals this semester. Join us Tuesday May 6th and Wednesday, May 7th from 12-1 for BBQ and connect with campus resources. On May 7th, we will also be partnering with Petaluma Council for their Club Day. SRJC’s 2025 graduation commencement ceremony will be held Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 9:00 A.M.

If you’ve applied to graduate, check your student portal for your invite letter. It includes a required form you must complete online to attend this year’s ceremony.

CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS...  
Are you interested in earning CSU transferable units for volunteering in the community?  WEE 95 may be the course for you! This course is a self-directed student volunteer program designed to facilitate experiential learning and service to the community.  Volunteer placements include animal care facilities, clinics, day care centers, hospitals, recreation programs, schools, senior care centers, and various social service agencies.  Note takers may also take this course. High School students are welcome. Students volunteer 52.50 hours per unit per semester for 0.50-3.00 units. A great opportunity to earn CSU transferrable elective units and give back to the community at the same time!

SRJC ID Cards are BACK

Student Identification (ID) cards are available for FREE. Having a Student ID card is essential as it will serve as your official student identification and provide access to on-campus events. You will also be able to ride FREE on any Sonoma County, Santa Rosa or Petaluma buses with a current enrollment sticker.  

You can come get your physical Student ID now at the following locations:
